CBT is one of Australia’s most trusted travel management partners, combining the expertise of a corporate travel specialist with the flexibility and personal service of a privately owned business. With deep industry knowledge, smart technology and strong client relationships, we deliver tailored travel solutions across corporate programs, group travel, sporting tours and once-in-a-lifetime journeys, ensuring every journey is seamless from start to finish.
We’re growing our Groups & Sports Travel team and we’re looking for a Senior Consultant who genuinely loves what they do, passionately provides stellar customer service, while thriving in a team environment. We’d love to meet someone who gets excited by the challenge of bringing together travellers, suppliers and logistics to execute our client’s travel needs. If you have a passion for organising group travel, thrive on the detail and complexity of bringing an itinerary together, and love seeing well-planned trips come to life, this could be your next role.
What you'll own
- End-to-end planning and management of group and FIT travel - heavily focused on sporting team travel, integrated and aligned with individual corporate travel of sporting entities.
- Domestic and International group bookings across flights, accommodation, transfers, events, while coordinating travellers and all the moving parts with attention to detail and precision.
- Fare, rate and package analysis to secure the best value and options for each group for our clients.
- Proactive approach to working productively with strong capabilities in problem solving and fast paced decision making.
- Being a part of a team who excels in strong, lasting relationships with clients, group organisers and suppliers.
- Day-to-day work across CBT's booking and point-of-sale systems.
What you'll bring
- 3+ years’ experience in group and corporate travel consulting with confidence. Strong
knowledge in group booking processes and managing a variety of multi-traveller itineraries.
- FIT fares and ticketing knowledge to support managing our corporate clients.
- Proficient knowledge and experience using Amadeus, Tramada, Salesforce and group travel management systems.
- Excellent organisational skills, the ability to juggle multiple bookings, deadlines and travellers handled with care, enthusiasm and attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills, exercising care and patience to support clients through the booking and group travel process.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the confidence to manage group dynamics and changing requirements.
- The ability to work autonomously in sometimes high-pressure situations while contributing to a supportive, high-performing team.
Why CBT
- A long-term career with a respected, growing business backed by the BMD Group
- Hybrid working environment opportunities post probationary period
- Genuine investment in your development, progression and success
- A collaborative culture that recognises contribution
- Flexible, inclusive workplace practices and a real commitment to work-life balance
