About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Administrator to support the commercial and project teams delivering the Gateway Motorway and Bruce Highway Upgrade project.
Working closely with project stakeholders, this role will be responsible for the administration of purchasing, invoices, subcontractor claims, docket management and project financial records, ensuring accurate and timely project cost administration.
The role will commence within our Newstead project office during the planning and design phase before transitioning to Bracken Ridge in 2027 as project delivery progresses. This is a fully onsite role with no work-from-home arrangements.
This is an excellent opportunity to become involved in a major infrastructure project from its early stages and support the project through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for goods and services
- Receipt purchase orders against delivery documentation
- Monitor the APWF system and ensure outstanding invoices are actioned promptly
- Monitor open purchase orders and liaise with requestors to confirm requirements remain current
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry of supplier dockets
- Assess and process docket-based subcontractor claims
- Assist with preparing substantiation for client claims
- Maintain project time sheeting and docketing systems
- Administer and manage the shared inbox
- Maintain accurate financial and project records
- Provide administrative support to project and commercial teams
About You
- Previous experience in finance, accounts or project administration
- Experience processing purchase orders, invoices and financial documentation
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience within construction, infrastructure or project environments will be highly regarded
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
