About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Administrator - Traffic Bookings, Permits & Coordination to support the day-to-day operations of the Gateway Motorway and Bruce Highway Upgrade project.
This is a varied role responsible for coordinating traffic bookings, permit administration, workforce scheduling activities and project documentation while acting as a key point of contact for traffic controllers, supervisors and project personnel.
The role will commence within our Newstead project office during the planning and design phase before transitioning to Bracken Ridge in 2027 as construction activities progress. This is a fully onsite role with no work-from-home arrangements.
We welcome applications from candidates seeking either full-time employment or part-time hours, with school-friendly hours of approximately 9:00am to 2:00pm available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate traffic bookings and scheduling requirements
- Prepare, submit and track permit applications
- Liaise with traffic controllers, supervisors and project teams via phone and email
- Support workforce coordination and operational planning activities
- Upload, process and maintain dockets and project documentation
- Ensure accurate data entry and record management
- Maintain project records, registers and filing systems
- Assist with general administration and office support activities
- Provide timely support to operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery
About You
- Previous administration, scheduling or coordination experience
- Confident and professional phone manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience
- Experience within construction, traffic management, logistics or transport environments will be highly regarded
