About the Project
The Tram to Springvale Alliance (TSA), made up of BMD Constructions, CPB Contractors and Arup, is delivering the Eastern Freeway Upgrades between Tram and Springvale roads. The works include new express lanes, upgraded noise walls, and revitalised areas of the Koonung Creek Linear Park.

The project is being delivered under an Alliance Contract with Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), forming a single, collaborative team.  As part of the North East Link Program (NELP), the upgrade will improve safety and efficiency for over 135,000 daily vehicles, remove 15,000 trucks from local roads, and reduce traffic across the Yarra River by 50,000 vehicles per day.

We’re completing the link together and bringing it home for our community.

About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated Sustainability Graduate to join the TSA team. Reporting to the Land, Planning & Environment Manager, you’ll work closely with project stakeholders, consultants and delivery teams to support sustainability outcomes across the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering the project's sustainability strategy, objectives and reporting requirements
• Support sustainability performance monitoring, data collection and KPI reporting
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives that drive positive environmental, social and economic outcomes
• Help promote sustainability awareness and best practice across project teams
• Assist with compliance requirements, audits and sustainability documentation
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project sustainability targets and support continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Recently completed a degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline
• Understanding of sustainability principles, legislation, guidelines and reporting frameworks
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
• A genuine passion for sustainability and delivering positive project outcomes
